Chelsea is a New York based mixed-media artist.
Born and raised in Upstate NY, she received her BS in Fashion & Textile Technology from Buffalo State University
in 2009, and her AAS in Textile Development & Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2010. For the past 13 years she has worked a variety of creative jobs, ranging from Design Assistant for Madeline Weinrib,
Product Designer for Target, and Art Director for
Dr. Pimple Popper’s skincare line.
Today, Chelsea works as a Graphic Designer at OSEA,
and creates artwork in her studio in Queens, New York. Inspired by the details found in nature, she translates the complexities found in our tactile surroundings, to create
art that evokes a sense of peace & calm.
